An exciting role working for a Staffordshire client of ours, this varied role will encompass sales forecasting and inventory analysis, to support the production and procurement of the entire product range. This role will have crucial links to a number of departments, namely sales, marketing, finance and planning
THE ROLE
- Managing the company forecasting system and driving constant improvements to the system
- Demand analysis, identifying demand change reasons and planning for promotional volumes and seasonal spikes
- Analysing all inventory levels and developing various supply policies to support achieving optimum stock levels and maximum efficiency
- Identifying discrepancies and working closely with I.T and planning to resolve
- Responsibility for directing production planning to fit the overall Supply Chain model
- Providing a suite of reports to the business on a weekly/monthly basis to present KPI performance on Demand Planning, Inventory Management and Operations
THE CANDIDATE
- Demonstrable experience of detailed inventory analysis and performance improvements
- Demand Planning Management experience
- Good knowledge of forecasting packages
- Ability to communicate effectively at a senior level and with various departments
- Strong influencing skills and ability to challenge existing systems/processes in the correct manner
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills
- Operational experience and process knowledge advantageous
